Dalia / broken wheat is a rich source of proteins and is loaded with essential vitamins. Including a bowl of dalia in your diet can increase your protein intake as well as aids in weight loss. Dalia conatins high fibre content that helps to improve digestion process. Today I am sharing recipe of vegtable daliya / namkeen daliya / daliya khichdi which is a one pot meal and very easy to make. 
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 15 minutes
Serving : 2  persons
Ingredients :
  1. Daliya / Broken Wheat - 1 cup
  2. Carrot - 1/4 cup fine chopped
  3. Sweet Corns - 2-3 tablespoon 
  4. Broccoli -  2-3 tablespoon
  5. Green Peas - 2-3 tablespoon
  6. Onion - 1 fine  chopped
  7. Green Chili - 2 slit
  8. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon
  9. Coriander Leaf - 2-3 tablespoon
  10. Cumin Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  11. Salt - according to taste
  12. Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
  13. Coriander Cumin Powder - 1/2 tablespoon
  14. Black Pepper Powder - 1 teaspoon
  15. Water - 3 cups
  16. Oil - 2 tablespoon

Steps :
1. Here are all the ingredients.
2. Wash daliya / broken wheat, take the washed daliya / broken wheat in a pressure cooker, add 3 cups of water, little bit of salt and turmeric. Cover and pressure cook the daliya / broken wheat for 2-3 whistles on medium flame. Let the pressure cook cool down completely on its own.
3. Take out the daliya / broken wheat in a bowl and keep it side.
4. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan / wok on medium heat, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
5. Add fine chopped onion and saute till onion turns little translucent.
6. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.
7. Add green chili, broccoli and carrots. Saute the vegetables for 1-2 minutes on medium flame. Do not overcook the vegetables.
8. Add green peas and sweet corn, saute them for 1-2 minutes.
9. Add all the seasonings along with salt, mix well and saute for 1-2 minutes. 
10. Add coriander leaf and mix well.
11. Add the boiled daliya / broken wheat and mix well with the vegetables. Saute everything for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Stir continuously.
12. Serve and enjoy hot.
