Sweet Corn Soup
Sweet corn soup is very popular soup in restaurants these days .One can use fresh or frozen corn for this. Today in this blog post I will cover how we can use simple ingredients and home cook this delicious soup .

Servings : 2 persons
Ingredients :
- Sweet Corn - 1/2 cup
- Carrot - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1/4 cup
- Corn Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1/2 tablespoon fine chopped
- Ginger - 1/2 tablespoon fine chopped
- Spring Onion (white part) - 2 tablespoon
- Spring Onion (green part) - 2 tablespoon
- Salt - According to taste
- White Pepper Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 2 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoon
Steps :
1. Here are all the ingredients. Here I am using frozen corn. If you are using fresh corn, boil ithem for 10 minutes.
2. Take half of the corn in a grinder and grind them coarsely. Save half of the corn.
3. Take out the corn in a bowl and keep it side. Don't grind the corn very smooth.
4. Heat oil in a pan / wok, add ginger and garlic and saute it for 1 minute on high flame.
5. Add fine chopped carrot and onion and saute them for 1 minute.
6. Add spring onion (white part), saute for 1 minute.
7. Add 2 1/2 cup of water, salt, white pepper powder, spring onion (green part), coarsely ground corn, whole corn and let them boil. You can use black pepper powder instead of white pepper powder.
8. Take 1 tablespoon corn starch, add 2 tablespoon of water and make a lump free smooth slurry.
9. Once the soup starts boiling, add the corn slurry and mix well.
10. Serve hot and enjoy.
