If you want to try a new recipe with Egg, Egg Drop Curry is something you should try preparing at home. Curry gets unique flavor and is very tasty. In this blog post I will share how to prepare Egg Drop Curry at home in simple steps using commonly available ingredients.
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 25 minutes
Serving : 3-4 people 
Ingredients :  
  1. Eggs - 4
  2. Onions - 1 cup fine chopped
  3. Tomato - 1 cup fine chopped
  4. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon
  5. Curry Leaf - 1 tablespoon
  6. Green Peas - 1/2 cup
  7. Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
  8. Cumin Powder - 1 tablespoon
  9. Garam Masala - 1 tablespoon
  10. Red Chili Powder - 1 tablespoon
  11. Bay Leaf - 1
  12. Cumin Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  13. Fennel Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  14. Cloves - 5-6
  15. Black Pepper Corn - 5-6
  16. Cinnamon Stick - 1 inch
  17. Water- 1/2 cup
  18. Oil - 2 1/2 tablespoon

Steps : 
1. Here are all the ingredients. I forgot to take the picture of peas.
2. Heat oil in pan / wok on medium flame, add whole spices and let them splutter for 10 seconds.
3. Add fine chopped onion and let it cook for 5 minutes.
4. Add ginger garlic paste and cook till onion turns little brown. 
5. Add all the powdered spices along with curry leaf and mix well. Cook the mixture for 1 minute on medium flame.
6. Add fine chopped tomato and mix well.
7. Add salt and mix well. Cook the mixture till it separates oil.
8. Add green peas and cook for 1 minute.
NOTE : Here I am using frozen peas, if you are using fresh peas add them with onion to cook them well. 
9. Add 1/2 cup of water and mix well. Cover and cook the water with mixture for 5 minutes on medium flame. Stir occasionally.
10. Make small gap in the curry and break the egg directly in the curry.
11. Here I am using 4 eggs. Break the eggs in the curry and do not mix it.
12. Break the yolk with a fork and mix lightly to cook the yolk properly. Do not over mix. Cover and cook the eggs for 7-10 minutes on low flame.
13. Serve the curry and enjoy with your favorite rice and bread.
