Today in this blog I will share how one can prepare paneer 65 at home using ingredients listed in the blogs. Follow below step by step guide on how to prepare paneer 65.
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
Serving : 2-3 persons
Ingredients :

  1. Paneer / Cottage Cheese - 1 cup cubed
  2. Onion - 1 cubed
  3. Green Capsicum - 1/2 cup cubed
  4. Green Chili - 1-2 slit
  5. Green Onion - 2-3 tablespoon
  6. Garlic - 1/2 tablespoon + 1/2 tablespoon fine chopped
  7. Curry Leaves - 1 tablespoon
  8. Yogurt / Dahi - 2 1/2 tablespoon
  9. Corn Flour - 1/2 tablespoon + 1/2 tablespoon
  10. All Purpose Flour - 1 tablespoon
  11. Lemon Juice - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  12. Whole Red Chili - 1-2 sliced
  13. Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tablespoon + 1/2 tablespoon
  14. Salt - according to taste
  15. Coriander Leaves - 2 tablespoon fine chopped
  16. Tomato Sauce - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  17. Water - 2 tablespoon + 1/2 cup
  18. Oil - 1 1/2 tablespoon + for frying
Steps : 
1. Here are all the ingredients. Here I am using dried curry leaves. You can use 1 tablespoon of fresh fine chopped curry leaves.
2. Take cubed paneer in a mixing bowl, add 1/2 tablespoon red chili powder, 1/2 tablespoon garlic, crushed / fine chopped curry leaf and salt. Mix the seasonings to coat the paneer properly with gentle hands.
3. Add fine chopped coriander leaf and mix well.
4. Add 1 1/2 tablespoon of corn flour and all purpose flour and coat the paneer with the flour mixture.
5. Add 2 tablespoon of water and mix well.
6. The paneer mixture is ready. The mixture will be little sticky because of the corn flour, that sticks all the ingredients to the paneer and makes it very crispy.
7. Heat oil for frying on high heat, put the paneer one by one in the hot oil and fry till it turns golden brown and crisp.
8. Once done, take them out in a paper towel and keep it side.
9. Add 1/2 tablespoon of cornflour and whisk till it mixed well.
10. Add 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder and mix well.
11. Once done, keep it side.
12. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoon of oil in a pan / wok, add 1/2 tablespoon of fine chopped garlic, green chili and sliced red chili. Saute them for 10 seconds.
13. Add cubed onions and green capsicum and saute them for 1 minute on medium - high heat. Do not overcook the veggies.
14. Add green onion (white part) and saute for 10 seconds.
15. Add tomato sauce and mix well.
16. Add green onions (green part) and saute for 10 seconds.
17. Put the flame on low and add yogurt / dahi mixture along with salt and mix well. Keep stirring and cook the yogurt / dahi for 2-3 minutes.
18. Add 1.2 cup of water and mix well. Let the water boil for 2 minutes.
19. Add the fried paneer / cottage cheese and coat well with the made sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes on medium flame.
20. Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite rice and bread.
