    Oreo Parfait 

Parfait is a chilled dessert originated from France which is basically made with layers of cream / fruits / chocolates / ice cream. If you like Oreo Cookies here is a very unique and delicious dessert that you can make using cheese , cookies, cream and chocolates. This recipe named Oreo Parfait can be a good dessert and will satisfy your sweet tooth. I will prepare this delicious recipe today using simple steps and commonly available ingredients. Please follow along.

Resting Time : 15 minutes
Serving : 2-3 persons
Ingredients : 

  1. Oreo Cookies - 13-14
  2. Whipped Cream - 1 1/2 cup
  3. Chocolate Chips - 1 cup
  4. Icing Sugar - 2 tablespoon
  5. Cream Cheese - 1/2 cup
  6. Vanilla Extract - 1 tablespoon
Steps :
1. Here are all the ingredients. Here I am using regular Oreo Cookies, you can use of your favorite flavor. You can use powdered sugar instead of icing sugar and fresh cream instead of cream cheese. 
2. Take half of the Oreo cookies and separate its cream part. Save half of the cookies for later use.
3. Grind the separated cookies and make its powder. Keep it side for later use.
 4. Take chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and add separated cream of the cookies. Microwave for 1 minute and mix well till it turns smooth. 
5. Add cream cheese and vanilla extract to the chocolate mix. Mix the mixture till it turns lump free and smooth.
6. The chocolate mixture is ready. Cover and keep it in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
7. Take whipped cream (click here for recipe) in a bowl, add icing sugar and mix well.
8. Lightly break the whole Oreo cookies and add in the whipped cream, mix the lightly and keep the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
9. Take a piping bag, fill the chocolate mixture in the piping bag.
10. Secure the piping bag from the top and press down the mixture.
11. Slit the piping bag and keep it side.
 12. Take your favorite serving bowl / glass, add cookie powder in the bottom of the glass / bowl.
13. Pipe out some chocolate mixture on the cookie powder. 
14. Layer the chocolate mixture with the whipped cream mixture.
15. Now repeat the layering process till you fill the bowl / glass till top.

16. Once you fill the bowl / glass till top, garnish it with some cookie powder and whipped cream.
17. Chill the Parfait for 15 minutes before serving and enjoy whenever you crave for sweet delight.

     Bread Crumbs Bread Crumbs are sliced residue of dry or discarded bread used for crumbing foods or thickening of soups. It is easy/ fast to make and can be stored for 4-5 weeks easily in a air tight container.
